In the 15th minute, Llangollen's Clyde Bartells seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Clyde Bartells the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Llangollen protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Clyde Bartells had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Llangollen! Corryn Crisp walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Kynwal Scrutiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deiniol Garrity having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Llangollen's goal looked a bit too open when Mabsant Farr came free, but Deiniol Garrity reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Kynwal Scrutiner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Bangor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kynwal Scrutiner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ofydd Doney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Griffin Wheelwright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Llangollen's Deiniol Garrity played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mabsant Farr in the 42nd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ofydd Doney made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Llangollen got a freekick which was hit by Griffin Wheelwright. In the 56th minute, Beli Henson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Addolgar Gillett struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Deiniol Garrity didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Griffin Wheelwright in the 91st minute of play forced UWA Bangor's goalkeeper Llwydeu Henson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Llangollen players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
