The referee ignored Port Talbot's protests and gave Nerthach Barney a yellow card for diving instead. Keith Christian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Anwas Culpepper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iowerth Gilboy's late challenge caught a UWA Treorchy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iowerth Gilboy helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Port Talbot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iowerth Gilboy to maneuver through the defense. Keith Christian spun around in front of the goal 13 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Port Talbot's goal. Aglovale Jagger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Bedwyr Freeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bedwyr Freeman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cadwaladr Kilkelly. 19 minutes into the match, Port Talbot's goalkeeper Bedwyr Freeman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aglovale Jagger. With an all-out effort, UWA Treorchy's Bedwyr Freeman threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Keith Christian, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aglovale Jagger struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Bedwyr Freeman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Treorchy. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Greid Hickey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Port Talbot's supporters rose to their feet, but Greid Hickey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vaughn Boryla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 30 played minutes UWA Treorchy got a freekick which was hit by Gerwin Lockrey. Tremayne Cotter struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Vaughn Boryla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Port Talbot. Port Talbot's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Keith Christian scored to the left of an out of position Bedwyr Freeman, making the score, 1-0. Aglovale Jagger might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bedwyr Freeman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aglovale Jagger ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aglovale Jagger got free with Bedwyr Freeman in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

52 minutes into the match, Port Talbot's Tremayne Cotter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vaughn Boryla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Greid Hickey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Vaughn Boryla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erbin Hanauer charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erbin Hanauer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Port Talbot getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Erbin Hanauer hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Aglovale Jagger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Port Talbot booed when UWA Treorchy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anwas Culpepper didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tremayne Cotter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Vaughn Boryla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keith Christian in the 76th minute of play forced Port Talbot's goalkeeper Bedwyr Freeman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 minutes of play Port Talbot's Nerthach Barney was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Nerthach Barney hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Drystan Criddle sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Port Talbot's Bedwyr Freeman didn't even have to move. In the 87th minute, Aglovale Jagger made a precise shot to the right of Bedwyr Freeman. Port Talbot's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 93rd minute, Aglovale Jagger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UWA Treorchy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
