The referee ignored UWA Penarth's protests and gave Mil Fishbourne a yellow card for diving instead. Mil Fishbourne kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Griffin Wheelwright in the 5th minute of play forced UWA Penarth's goalkeeper Pellyn Lamont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pellyn Lamont showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ofydd Doney in the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dillan Keegan in the 12th minute of play forced UWA Penarth's goalkeeper Pellyn Lamont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ofydd Doney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Pellyn Lamont tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Ofydd Doney made a precise shot to the right of Pellyn Lamont. UWA Penarth's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Penarth's zone, Dillan Keegan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pellyn Lamont came out of the goal and Dillan Keegan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Llangollen's Ofydd Doney sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pellyn Lamont narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 35 minutes, Ofydd Doney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llangollen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ofydd Doney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Griffin Wheelwright might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pellyn Lamont. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Griffin Wheelwright ran back to his position shaking his head. Mil Fishbourne kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Ofydd Doney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When Gwallter Bligh came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the UWA Penarth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gwallter Bligh couldn't finish the play. Ofydd Doney succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 54th playminute. After a rather tough play, UWA Penarth's Mil Fishbourne got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th match minute, Llangollen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Griffin Wheelwright to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute Dillan Keegan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pellyn Lamont saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ofydd Doney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Pellyn Lamont tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Dillan Keegan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pellyn Lamont. That made the score 0-6 in the 70 minute of play. Ofydd Doney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Pellyn Lamont tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dillan Keegan struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Pellyn Lamont didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llangollen. Griffin Wheelwright blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pellyn Lamont having to make a save. Ofydd Doney's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Pellyn Lamont skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Ofydd Doney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dillan Keegan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pellyn Lamont having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Ofydd Doney cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Pellyn Lamont was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Llangollen could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than UWA Penarth throughout the match.
