Keith Christian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kynan Freelove sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Digon Pattern's late challenge caught a UWA Treorchy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Digon Pattern helped the player get up and apologised. Digon Pattern kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to Cardiff getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Greidyawl Creedan hit a great ball. If Keith Christian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kynan Freelove charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 29 played minutes Cardiff got a freekick which was hit by Digon Pattern. Vaughn Boryla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Collen Huddleston in the 32nd minute of the match. If Kynan Freelove had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bwlch Bonds kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Collen Huddleston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Collen Huddleston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaughn Boryla having to interfere. When Kynan Freelove came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Cardiff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kynan Freelove couldn't finish the play. In the 75th match minute, UWA Treorchy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anwas Culpepper to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Keith Christian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Heulyn Chadwick was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 90 minutes into the match, Cardiff's goal looked a bit too open when Keith Christian came free, but Heulyn Chadwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
