In the 9th match minute, Puddlemere United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Selyv Hayhurst to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Abergele Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Padrig Potter came free, but Reese Hodge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 18th minute of the match Selyv Hayhurst completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Selyv Hayhurst a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Abergele Utd booed when Puddlemere United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selyv Hayhurst didn't get a good kick on the ball. Padrig Potter kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Rhodri Hanley dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Reese Hodge, 1-0. If Jones Farran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Tomos Healy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caerwyn Kean missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 42 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Reese Hodge right hand side. Jones Farran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Padrig Grantham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Padrig Potter in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reese Hodge saved Abergele Utd from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Griffin Bannon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puddlemere United's supporters rose to their feet, but Griffin Bannon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reese Hodge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Padrig Grantham, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 56 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Reese Hodge was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Griffin Bannon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reese Hodge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Griffin Bannon in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Abergele Utd getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ieuan Floyd hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the game, Padrig Potter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puddlemere United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abergele Utd the free kick. Padrig Potter hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Puddlemere United's Padrig Grantham got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Griffin Bannon struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Reese Hodge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puddlemere United. If Padrig Potter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reese Hodge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Padrig Grantham in the 73rd minute of the match. Rhodri Hanley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reese Hodge having to interfere. Dewey Coffee hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Rhodri Hanley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reese Hodge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rhodri Hanley, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After taking down the ball on Puddlemere United's corner Griffin Bannon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Reese Hodge quite easily take care of the ball. Rhodri Hanley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Reese Hodge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rhodri Hanley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jones Farran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Puddlemere United fully deserved thier win.
