Tremayne Cotter came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gethin Bonham could save by the left post. Tremayne Cotter's late challenge caught a Puddlemere United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tremayne Cotter helped the player get up and apologised. Tremayne Cotter kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Bedwyr Freeman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Padrig Potter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gethin Bonham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tremayne Cotter in the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Padrig Potter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puddlemere United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Padrig Potter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Port Talbot booed when Puddlemere United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jones Farran didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tremayne Cotter made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Port Talbot's zone, Padrig Potter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bedwyr Freeman came out of the goal and Padrig Potter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Padrig Potter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Bedwyr Freeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 minutes of play, Port Talbot's Tremayne Cotter made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gethin Bonham was left in no man's land by his defense there! Padrig Grantham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bedwyr Freeman having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Padrig Potter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bedwyr Freeman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 66 minutes, Padrig Potter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puddlemere United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Padrig Potter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rhodri Hanley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Padrig Potter's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Bedwyr Freeman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Padrig Potter succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 82nd playminute. 87 minutes into the game, Padrig Grantham recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bedwyr Freeman. Padrig Grantham showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After a rather tough play, Port Talbot's Nerthach Barney got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 92 played minutes, Puddlemere United's Caerwyn Kean shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bedwyr Freeman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Puddlemere United reached it. In the 94th match minute, Puddlemere United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jones Farran to maneuver through the defense. Puddlemere United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
