Spectators: 6762 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 0) Gwalchmei Hamm made the kick off and thus started the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Gwalchmei Hamm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neath's supporters rose to their feet, but Gwalchmei Hamm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gormant Edelston breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th minute, Calcas Baldwin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vaughn Edington lost his temper 10 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Bogart Foster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, one of Llangollen FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Llangollen FC. The referee gave Neath a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Reese Harley, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Llangollen FC's Gormant Edelston. 1-1. When Llwyd Hazel fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neath's protests and gave Llwyd Hazel a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Neath's Llwyd Hazel got a free kick in the 31st minute. Caradawg Connery came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Llangollen FC's Bercelak Keane. But to his dismay, Bercelak Keane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bercelak Keane got free with Caradawg Connery in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Bercelak Keane got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Llangollen FC's Bercelak Keane slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Caradawg Connery. That made the score 3-1 after 43 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olwydd Augustin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bogart Foster recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd match minute, Neath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rhisiart Day to maneuver through the defense. Olwydd Augustin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Caradawg Connery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caradawg Connery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bercelak Keane, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th match minute, Neath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Llwyd Hazel to maneuver through the defense. If Bogart Foster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olwydd Augustin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Caradawg Connery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Morgan Ely hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Bogart Foster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gormant Edelston having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Neath players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Llangollen FC.
