Spectators: 6779 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gwalchmei Hamm started the match with the kick off. If Gwalchmei Hamm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wrexham FC's Melkin Hurlburt got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute of the match, Gwalchmei Hamm tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cadeyrn Pattern saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 16th match minute, Neath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reese Harley to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Wrexham FC's zone, Bogart Foster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cadeyrn Pattern came out of the goal and Bogart Foster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gwalchmei Hamm came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Neath fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gwalchmei Hamm couldn't finish the play. Caradawg Connery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melkin Hurlburt in the 28th minute of play. Llwyd Hazel kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Caradawg Connery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siencyn Booth, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Corryn Colston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caradawg Connery having to interfere. When Rhobert Griffin fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wrexham FC's protests and gave Rhobert Griffin a yellow card for diving instead. Rhobert Griffin hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Bogart Foster struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Cadeyrn Pattern didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neath. 40 minutes into the match, Gwalchmei Hamm dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cadeyrn Pattern, 1-0. Bogart Foster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cadeyrn Pattern having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melkin Hurlburt made a kick off. Siencyn Booth received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Caradawg Connery came out and tried to block the shot, but Siencyn Booth slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 52nd minute. Siencyn Booth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Caradawg Connery made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Bogart Foster managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neath's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogart Foster was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cadeyrn Pattern breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bogart Foster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caradawg Connery stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melkin Hurlburt's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Siencyn Booth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Wrexham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bogart Foster came free, but Cadeyrn Pattern reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melkin Hurlburt in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caradawg Connery saved Neath from getting behind. Siencyn Booth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caradawg Connery having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Siencyn Booth fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Caradawg Connery, passed just outside the right post. Siencyn Booth might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caradawg Connery. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Siencyn Booth ran back to his position shaking his head. Caradawg Connery was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Melkin Hurlburt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 93 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Wrexham FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
