Sion Griffith could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Ol Bellew made a huge save. If Sel Duff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Llwydeu Bellew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Celyn Edelston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Llwydeu Bellew hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Sulyen Giggs charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sulyen Giggs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Sulyen Giggs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind UWA Penarth's goalkeeper Celyn Edelston, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute of the match UWA Penarth got a corner. UWA Cardigan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tarrant Wheelwright ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 23rd minute Sel Duff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ol Bellew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Bwlch Mason hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Llwydeu Bellew in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celyn Edelston prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the game, Sion Griffith was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Penarth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Cardigan the free kick. When Iustig Herbert fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UWA Penarth's protests and gave Iustig Herbert a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes UWA Penarth got a freekick which was hit by Iustig Herbert. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Llwydeu Bellew in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celyn Edelston saved UWA Penarth from getting behind. After having played for 47 minutes, Sel Duff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Penarth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sel Duff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sel Duff to make the kick off. Amerawdwr Case fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celyn Edelston having to interfere. In the 56th minute Sel Duff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ol Bellew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sion Griffith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes in the game, Amerawdwr Case fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Celyn Edelston having to interfere. Amerawdwr Cases short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Celyn Edelston to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Llwydeu Bellew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Celyn Edelston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Penarth's zone, Amerawdwr Case stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celyn Edelston came out of the goal and Amerawdwr Case tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sel Duff in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ol Bellew prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd minute, Amerawdwr Case got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ol Bellew took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sion Griffith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Amerawdwr Case had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Llwydeu Bellew came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the UWA Cardigan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Llwydeu Bellew couldn't finish the play. Celyn Edelston made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Llwydeu Bellew sent off a good shot on target.
