Llangollen FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Calcas Baldwin kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Wrexham FC. Rhodri Hastings stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gormant Edelston. 0-3. If Olwydd Augustin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melkin Hurlburt to make the kick off. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Wrexham FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
