Carmarthen FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when March Factor 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. If March Factor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cedric Caudle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of March Factor's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Aneirin Crabtree managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carmarthen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aneirin Crabtree was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modred Fabian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cedric Caudle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from March Factor in the 25th minute of play. Cedric Caudle made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Gwyddawg Felt sent off a good shot on target. Gwyddawg Felt struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Cedric Caudle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cardiff Utd. Lleu Kimball kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Cardiff Utd's Cedric Caudle threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from March Factor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aneirin Crabtree received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Modred Fabian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gwyddawg Felt came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Cardiff Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gwyddawg Felt couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when March Factor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cedric Caudle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from March Factor in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, March Factor notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Carmarthen FC's Cedric Caudle. Cedric Caudle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd match minute, Carmarthen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lleu Kimball to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Cardiff Utd's Caddoc Camden tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cardiff Utd's Pyrs Hayhurst suffered a concussion in the 64th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 64 minutes into the game, Robat Farley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carmarthen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cardiff Utd the free kick. When Gwyddawg Felt came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Cardiff Utd fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwyddawg Felt in the 71st minute of play forced Carmarthen FC's goalkeeper Cedric Caudle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes, Griflet Brine mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cardiff Utd and the Carmarthen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Griflet Brine hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Modred Fabian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aneirin Crabtree in the 76th minute of play. If Aglovale Hodson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmarthen FC's Aneirin Crabtree got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aneirin Crabtree sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cardiff Utd's zone, Aneirin Crabtree stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modred Fabian came out of the goal and Aneirin Crabtree tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, Gwyddawg Felt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cardiff Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carmarthen FC the free kick. Carmarthen FC's Aneirin Crabtree got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the game, Gwalchmei Brine was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carmarthen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cardiff Utd the free kick. After 93 played minutes Carmarthen FC got a freekick which was hit by Gwalchmei Brine. Cardiff Utd's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
