In the 3rd minute Romney Kerrigan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adwr Bonner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, UWA Bale Tribute's goal looked a bit too open when Ol Lavelle came free, but Adwr Bonner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Llwybyr Farrar's late challenge caught a UWA Bale Tribute's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Llwybyr Farrar helped the player get up and apologised. Llwybyr Farrar kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Rhobert Gillett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ardwyad Henn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lionel Ingoldsby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ardwyad Henn having to interfere. Rhobert Gillett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ardwyad Henn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Llwybyr Farrar hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Cardigan's Ardwyad Henn got control of the ball when Lionel Ingoldsby tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rhobert Gillett was extremely unlucky when he, in the 27th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Rhobert Gillett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ardwyad Henn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rhobert Gillett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ardwyad Henn having to interfere. Romney Kerrigan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adwr Bonner having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rhobert Gillett made a kick off. When Anyon David fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UWA Bale Tribute's protests and gave Anyon David a yellow card for diving instead. Romney Kerrigan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romney Kerrigan struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Adwr Bonner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cardigan. In the 58th minute, Ol Lavelle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Garselid Humphries's late challenge caught a Cardigan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Garselid Humphries helped the player get up and apologised. Garselid Humphries kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Gorsedd Brine hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When Ol Lavelle came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Cardigan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ol Lavelle couldn't finish the play. Romney Kerrigan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adwr Bonner having to interfere. A collision led to UWA Bale Tribute getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Rhobert Gillett hit a great ball. Ol Lavelle struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Adwr Bonner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cardigan. Renfrew Hick charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renfrew Hick the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cardigan getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Renfrew Hick hit a great ball. The UWA Bale Tribute supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cardigan's performance. The match ended with a win for Cardigan.
