Spectators: 6783 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Romney Kerrigan kicked off to start the match. When Romney Kerrigan came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Cardigan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romney Kerrigan couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romney Kerrigan in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caradawg Connery prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7th minute, Pwyll Cordwainer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neath's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Romney Kerrigan 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Bogart Foster struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Ardwyad Henn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neath. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ol Lavelle got free with Caradawg Connery in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Bogart Foster managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neath's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogart Foster was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ardwyad Henn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the game, one of Cardigan:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ardwyad Henn came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Neath's Bogart Foster. But to his dismay, Bogart Foster quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 38 minutes into the match, Cardigan's goal looked a bit too open when Bogart Foster came free, but Ardwyad Henn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ardwyad Henn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwalchmei Hamm, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. If Bogart Foster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwalchmei Hamm in the 43rd minute of play forced Cardigan's goalkeeper Ardwyad Henn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Gwalchmei Hamm made the kick off in the second half. If Gwalchmei Hamm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bogart Foster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Cardigan's Caradoc Carpenter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caradawg Connery narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Neath's Reese Harley got a free kick in the 74th minute. Romney Kerrigan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caradawg Connery having to interfere. The supporters of Cardigan booed when Neath was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madawg Francis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neath's Caradawg Connery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romney Kerrigan in the 86th minute of play. Llwyd Hazel charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Llwyd Hazel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th match minute, Neath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Llwyd Hazel to maneuver through the defense. Caradawg Connery came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Cardigan's Romney Kerrigan. But to his dismay, Romney Kerrigan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Renfrew Hick kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the game, Gwalchmei Hamm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Ardwyad Henn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Neath players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
