Gwyddawg Felt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ol Bellew having to interfere. When Gwyddawg Felt came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Cardiff Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gwyddawg Felt couldn't finish the play. After 47 played minutes UWA Cardigan got a freekick which was hit by Cas Catton.

The wind increased when Gwyddawg Felt made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Howell Kinch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. UWA Cardigan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Llwydeu Bellew was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Llwydeu Bellew in the 70th minute of play forced Cardiff Utd's goalkeeper Modred Fabian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amynedd Shrieve hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, UWA Cardigan's Cas Catton got a free kick in the 81st minute. With a little luck, UWA Cardigan's Ol Bellew got control of the ball when Gwyddawg Felt tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Cardiff Utd players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented UWA Cardigan from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
