The referee ignored UWA Penarth's protests and gave Sulyen Giggs a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, UWA Penarth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sulyen Giggs to maneuver through the defense. Olwydd Augustin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Celyn Edelston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sion Griffith was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Llangollen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adwr Gettins to maneuver through the defense. Sel Duff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iustig Herbert struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Gormant Edelston didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Penarth. Sel Duff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 71 minutes, Bercelak Keane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llangollen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bercelak Keane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iustig Herbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olwydd Augustin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Celyn Edelston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind UWA Penarth's goalkeeper Celyn Edelston, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Celyn Edelston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olwydd Augustin, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
