Ardwyad Henn came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Llangollen FC's Bercelak Keane. But to his dismay, Bercelak Keane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Olwydd Augustin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 minutes of play, Llangollen FC's Olwydd Augustin made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ardwyad Henn was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the game, Ol Lavelle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Gormant Edelston was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the match, Cardigan's goal looked a bit too open when Calcas Baldwin came free, but Ardwyad Henn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renfrew Hick during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Llangollen FC booed when Cardigan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renfrew Hick didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ardwyad Henn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bercelak Keane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35thth minute of the game Romney Kerrigan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Llangollen FC's Gormant Edelston was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ol Lavelle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Gormant Edelston made a huge save. When Tremayne Huckster fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Llangollen FC's protests and gave Tremayne Huckster a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Llangollen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tremayne Huckster to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romney Kerrigan to make the kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Llangollen FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Newlin Harland was slow to take the kick. During this time Cardigan's players had a chance to rest. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Llangollen FC's goalkeeper Gormant Edelston, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Cardigan's Ol Lavelle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gormant Edelston narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, Ol Lavelle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Gormant Edelston was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cardigan's goalkeeper Ardwyad Henn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Llangollen FC's Bercelak Keane got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the game, Llwybyr Farrar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cardigan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Llangollen FC the free kick. Llwybyr Farrar kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ol Lavelle in the 83rd minute of play forced Llangollen FC's goalkeeper Gormant Edelston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olwydd Augustin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ardwyad Henn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ardwyad Henn stood somewhat misplaced when Bercelak Keane came free in front of goal and shot 3-3 to the left of him in the 86 minute. The supporters of Llangollen FC booed when Cardigan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romney Kerrigan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Llangollen FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Bercelak Keane hit a great ball.
