Spectators: 6776 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gwyglet Brody made the kick off which started today's match. Gwallawg Bradshaw hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gwyglet Brody in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cadeyrn Hamm saved Newtown from getting behind. Newtown's Cadeyrn Hamm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwyglet Brody in the 18th minute of play. Gwyglet Brody took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cadeyrn Hamm. Cadeyrn Hamm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Griflet Bradbury in the 23rd minute of play forced UWA Flint's goalkeeper Griflet Greer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cadeyrn Hamm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwyglet Brody in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Newtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seith Foley to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 32 minutes, Ceri Guthrie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newtown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceri Guthrie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cadeyrn Hamm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cadeyrn Bradner in the 35th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Seith Foley during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Newtown's Seith Foley got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute UWA Flint were awarded a corner. Cai Donovan went to the cornerflag to take it. Howell Dunlop tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Cadeyrn Hamm. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 39th minute. Seith Foley kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Cadeyrn Bradner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Newtown players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. UWA Flint were winning 0-2.

Griflet Bradbury's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Griflet Greer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Griflet Greer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceri Guthrie, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When Amynedd Crease fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UWA Flint's protests and gave Amynedd Crease a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Newtown booed when UWA Flint was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amynedd Crease didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ceri Guthrie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cadeyrn Hamm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwyglet Brody in the 95th minute of play. Griflet Greer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceri Guthrie, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. UWA Flint's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
