Caradawg Ackroyd guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 36 minutes into the match, Llanberis's Trefor Ackerman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caradawg Ackroyd narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gormant Hunt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Padrig Bluestocking skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mael Burt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Padrig Bluestocking tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Aberystwyth's zone, Trefor Ackerman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caradawg Ackroyd came out of the goal and Trefor Ackerman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mael Burt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mael Burt struck a weak shot in the 96th minute.
