The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Avaon Wainwright during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Port Talbot FC booed when UWA Barry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avaon Wainwright didn't get a good kick on the ball. Broderick Spurrer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Port Talbot FC defense, Brys Hatch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teryrnon Knox. The Port Talbot FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teryrnon Knox should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute Brys Hatch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teryrnon Knox saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anwir Isham acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rhett Donnelly. Griffin Busby. received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Teryrnon Knox tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Port Talbot FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brys Hatch came free, but Teryrnon Knox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ol Connolly kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Teryrnon Knox made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Griffin Busby. in the 36th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Port Talbot FC got a freekick which was hit by Sugyn Ingersoll. 42 minutes into the match, Port Talbot FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brys Hatch came free, but Teryrnon Knox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brys Hatch made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Broderick Spurrer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Broderick Spurrer in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anwir Isham saved UWA Barry from getting behind. Anwir Isham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peredur Lunshekaun in the 55th minute of the match. If Griffin Busby. had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Broderick Spurrer in the 64th minute of play forced UWA Barry's goalkeeper Anwir Isham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Garnock Cartledge got free with Teryrnon Knox in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Port Talbot FC defense, Griffin Busby. kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teryrnon Knox. The Port Talbot FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teryrnon Knox should have stopped the shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 73 minutes into the game, when Ieuan Harper put in a rough tackle. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Port Talbot FC's goalkeeper Teryrnon Knox, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Port Talbot FC's Peredur Lunshekaun got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Griffin Busby. came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the UWA Barry fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Griffin Busby. couldn't finish the play. Jones Compton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Port Talbot FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
