The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Flint's Mawrth Lambin got a free kick in the 5th minute. Anwar Folk made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Peredur Lunshekaun sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Peredur Lunshekaun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Port Talbot FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Peredur Lunshekaun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anwar Folk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peredur Lunshekauns short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Anwar Folk to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 18 played minutes Flint got a freekick which was hit by Sayer Johnston. Barri Haugh was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Sugyn Ingersoll managed to get in a good position for a shot. Port Talbot FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sugyn Ingersoll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anwar Folk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Broderick Spurrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the match, Blathaon Emery notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Port Talbot FC's Teryrnon Knox. Teryrnon Knox was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Port Talbot FC's Teryrnon Knox played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blathaon Emery in the 31st minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Broderick Spurrer to make the kick off. Barri Haugh, 52 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Broderick Spurrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, one of Flint:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Flint. The referee gave Port Talbot FC a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Barri Haugh, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Flint's Anwar Folk. 1-2. Anwar Folk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peredur Lunshekaun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Port Talbot FC booed when Flint was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kynwal Larkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anwar Folk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Broderick Spurrer in the 77th minute of the match. Port Talbot FC's Peredur Lunshekaun got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Broderick Spurrer in the 84th minute of play forced Flint's goalkeeper Anwar Folk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Flint's zone, Peredur Lunshekaun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anwar Folk came out of the goal and Peredur Lunshekaun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd match minute, Flint was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kynwal Larkin to maneuver through the defense. After 95 minutes Flint's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Barri Haugh who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Barri Haugh almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Flint's Anwar Folk did a great save. In the 98th match minute, Port Talbot FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Penvro Denman to maneuver through the defense. Teryrnon Knox showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romney Joynes in the 100th minute of the match. The Flint players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
