Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Chepstow 's Amynedd Leonard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Chepstow 's goalkeeper Anir Brothers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peissawg Garland. Peissawg Garland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pasgen Fane placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Peissawg Garland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anir Brothers having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Peissawg Garland could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Anir Brothers however easily saved by the left post. Arthur Gain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amynedd Leonard in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match Chepstow got a corner. Penarth's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pasgen Fane ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Amynedd Leonard heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 29 played minutes Penarth got a freekick which was hit by Dirmyg Francom. Arthur Gain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Parry Kearney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anir Brothers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naw Kavanagh in the 36th minute of play. Peissawg Garland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Anir Brothers made a huge save. 40 minutes into the game, Peissawg Garland recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anir Brothers. Peissawg Garland showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Dirmyg Francom struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Anir Brothers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penarth.

Peissawg Garland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anir Brothers having to make a save. Dirmyg Francom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Peissawg Garland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Anir Brothers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amynedd Leonard in the 60th minute of play forced Penarth's goalkeeper Arthur Gain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peissawg Garland in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anir Brothers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77thth minute of the game Peissawg Garland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chepstow 's Anir Brothers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peissawg Garland got in the 79th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Anir Brothers handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Peissawg Garland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dirmyg Francom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
