Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vaughn Gilliland kicked off to start the match. A collision led to UWA Baglan getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Pasgen Farran hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wren Fielding in the 4th minute of play forced Talgarth's goalkeeper Gwydre Finlay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Talgarth's Gwydre Finlay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaughn Gilliland in the 9th minute of play. When Vaughn Gilliland came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the UWA Baglan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaughn Gilliland couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, UWA Baglan's goalkeeper Gwalchmei Burdick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Accalon Hoag. After 20th play minutes Wren Fielding shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Gwydre Finlay and just under the crossbar into goal. Gwalchmei Burdick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olwydd Gehan in the 35th minute of play. Olwydd Gehan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Gwalchmei Burdick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Accalon Hoag got free with Gwalchmei Burdick in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olwydd Gehan to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, UWA Baglan's Vaughn Gilliland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gwydre Finlay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Accalon Hoag received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gwalchmei Burdick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaughn Gilliland in the 58th minute of play forced Talgarth's goalkeeper Gwydre Finlay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Accalon Hoag sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vaughn Gilliland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olwydd Gehan charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olwydd Gehan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 72 minutes into the match, UWA Baglan's goal looked a bit too open when Olwydd Gehan came free, but Gwalchmei Burdick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gwalchmei Burdick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Accalon Hoag in the 76th minute of play. Vaughn Gilliland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwydre Finlay having to interfere. If Vaughn Gilliland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Talgarth's goal looked a bit too open when Vaughn Gilliland came free, but Gwydre Finlay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Talgarth's Accalon Hoag got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gwalchmei Burdick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olwydd Gehan in the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded UWA Baglan left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Talgarth.
