Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Caradoc Goodwin made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Skewen FC's zone, Morvran Doran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pelles Leonard came out of the goal and Morvran Doran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, Bedwyr Cavaness hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Skewen FC's Mostyn Camden shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arthur Deanly but with some difficulty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Govannon Laing in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arthur Deanly saved UWA Cardigan from getting behind. Govannon Laing's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arthur Deanly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Arthur Deanly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Govannon Laing in the 21st minute of play. UWA Cardigan's Arthur Deanly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Govannon Laing in the 24th minute of play. Arthur Deanly made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Iustig Cullin sent off a good shot on target. Govan Flattery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Deanly having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Bedwyr Cavaness hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Morvran Doran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Iustig Cullin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caradoc Goodwin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pelles Leonard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

52 minutes into the game, Bedwyr Cavaness was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skewen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Cardigan the free kick. The supporters of UWA Cardigan booed when Skewen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bedwyr Cavaness didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iustig Cullin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Deanly having to interfere. UWA Cardigan's Arthur Deanly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustig Cullin in the 66th minute of play. Llyr Griffin kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Govannon Laing's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arthur Deanly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of UWA Cardigan booed when Skewen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Govan Flattery didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Caradoc Goodwin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pelles Leonard was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 96th minute, UWA Cardigan's Caradoc Goodwin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pelles Leonard. Pelles Leonard yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1.
