Spectators: 6770 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robat Herne started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Rhyl's Iago Abrams got a free kick in the 4th minute. Llangollen Utd's Teryrnon Corcoran shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Iau Currie but with some difficulty. Iau Currie was a little too slow when Cai Blackadder got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Lot Baldwin took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gwevyl Kavanagh. Gwevyl Kavanagh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Kenyon Howe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lot Baldwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwevyl Kavanagh having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Llangollen Utd got a freekick which was hit by Hafgan Jennings. Iago Abrams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lot Baldwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwevyl Kavanagh having to interfere. Lot Baldwin struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Gwevyl Kavanagh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rhyl. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Lot Baldwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rhyl's supporters rose to their feet, but Lot Baldwin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gwevyl Kavanagh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iago Abrams was the one to do the kick off. Lot Baldwin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 51st minute. Rhyl's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 52nd minute, Iago Abrams reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gwevyl Kavanagh. The goal made the score 1-2. 57 minutes into the match, Rhyl's goal looked a bit too open when Robat Herne came free, but Iau Currie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iago Abrams in the 58th minute of play forced Llangollen Utd's goalkeeper Gwevyl Kavanagh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Llangollen Utd's Robat Herne nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iau Currie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 67th minute, Robat Herne made a precise shot to the right of Iau Currie. Rhyl's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. 73 minutes into the game, Hafgan Jennings was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Llangollen Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rhyl the free kick. Hafgan Jennings kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Lot Baldwin struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Gwevyl Kavanagh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rhyl. In the 79th minute Iago Abrams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwevyl Kavanagh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lot Baldwin struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Gwevyl Kavanagh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rhyl. The referee gave Llangollen Utd a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bogart Carr, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rhyl's Iau Currie. 4-2. Kenyon Howe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 96 played minutes Llangollen Utd got a freekick which was hit by Bogart Carr. In the 97th minute, Sion Hodgkiss sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Llangollen Utd's Gwevyl Kavanagh didn't even have to move. Rhyl's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
