Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 0) Cadyryeith Lay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ceithin Coburn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Ceithin Coburn came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Flint Utd's Mabsant Catton. But to his dismay, Mabsant Catton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 15 minutes into the match, Flint Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Huw Cantwell came free, but Nerthach Coad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gwyddawg Howard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceithin Coburn having to interfere. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cardiff Utd's goalkeeper Ceithin Coburn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 21 minutes, Mabsant Catton made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cardiff Utd's Ceithin Coburn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th match minute, Cardiff Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taliesin French to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the game, Gwyddawg Howard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Ceithin Coburn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mabsant Catton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Flint Utd's Mabsant Catton in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cardiff Utd's goalie prevented a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mabsant Catton made a kick off. Huw Cantwell hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 54th match minute, Flint Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwyddawg Howard to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 60 minutes, Taliesin French managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cardiff Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taliesin French was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berth Fischer hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Cardiff Utd's Ceithin Coburn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merlin Kilkenny in the 64th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Flint Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Huw Cantwell came free, but Nerthach Coad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flint Utd's Mabsant Catton got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Flint Utd booed when Cardiff Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berth Fischer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nerthach Coad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huw Cantwell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Ceithin Coburn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Teregud Cooper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cardiff Utd's zone, Cadyryeith Lay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceithin Coburn came out of the goal and Cadyryeith Lay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Cardiff Utd fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Flint Utd were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
