The UWA Presteigne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Kynlas Creagh struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Powell Cain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Presteigne. With a little luck, UWA Skewen's Powell Cain got control of the ball when Kynlas Creagh tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85 minutes of play, UWA Skewen's Drwst Coomber made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amhar Loane was left in no man's land by his defense there! UWA Presteigne's Kynlas Creagh got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, UWA Presteigne's Powell Cain threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gwern Bradley, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwern Bradley in the 95th minute of play forced UWA Skewen's goalkeeper Powell Cain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
