Cynan Hanauer made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Drwst Coomber sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the UWA Skewen defense, Aberthol Workman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Powell Cain. The UWA Skewen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Powell Cain should have stopped the shot. Aberthol Workman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Amhar Harrington fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chepstow 's protests and gave Amhar Harrington a yellow card for diving instead. Amhar Harrington hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Cynan Hanauer acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Amlawdd Ginger. Iolo Conyers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the game, Amlawdd Ginger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Skewen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chepstow the free kick. In the 27th minute, one of UWA Skewen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for UWA Skewen. Aberthol Workman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Powell Cain having to interfere. Emrys Ahern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Powell Cain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cadell Dale hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute Aberthol Workman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Powell Cain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. UWA Skewen's Mabsant Gibbons got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cynan Hanauer didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 43rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mabsant Gibbons to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Chepstow got a freekick which was hit by Amhar Harrington. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mabsant Gibbons in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cynan Hanauer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chepstow 's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gwalhaved Freelove in the 60th minute. The corner ended in Cadeyrn Gover almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but UWA Skewen's Powell Cain did a great save. After 65 minutes, Iolo Conyers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UWA Skewen and the Chepstow players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chepstow booed when UWA Skewen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iolo Conyers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amhar Harrington hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Chepstow 's Aberthol Workman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Powell Cain narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Mabsant Gibbons cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Cynan Hanauer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Braen Brigham hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Amlawdd Ginger, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Drwst Coomber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cynan Hanauer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mabsant Gibbons in the 84th minute of play. After 85 minutes of play Chepstow 's Amhar Harrington was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 85th minute, Amhar Harrington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Drwst Coomber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cynan Hanauer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adwr Caldwell hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
