Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ithel Atkins started the match with the kick off. Erbin Gaoler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pryderi Currier having to interfere. Caradawg Keyes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Pryderi Currier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Barry's Caradawg Keyes in the 12th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Pryderi Currier was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for UWA Carmarthen through an amazing save. 14 minutes into the match, UWA Carmarthen's Tudur England sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Avaon Adlam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Avaon Adlam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ithel Atkins's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Caradawg Keyes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erbin Gaoler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pryderi Currier having to interfere. Pryderi Currier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erbin Gaoler showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. Caradawg Keyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erbin Gaoler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pryderi Currier having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caradawg Keyes in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pryderi Currier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pryderi Currier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erbin Gaoler in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erbin Gaoler got free with Pryderi Currier in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudur England in the 41st minute of play forced Barry's goalkeeper Avaon Adlam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caradawg Keyes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pryderi Currier having to interfere. Caradawg Keyes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Pryderi Currier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Tudur England got free with Avaon Adlam in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tudur England could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Avaon Adlam made a huge save. UWA Carmarthen's Tudur England got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erbin Gaoler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pryderi Currier having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caradawg Keyes in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pryderi Currier saved UWA Carmarthen from getting behind. Erbin Gaoler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Pryderi Currier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pryderi Currier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erbin Gaoler in the 85th minute of play. Ithel Atkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ithel Atkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Avaon Adlam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tudur England came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Avaon Adlam could save by the left post. 97 minutes into the match, Barry's goal looked a bit too open when Ithel Atkins came free, but Avaon Adlam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the UWA Carmarthen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barry.
