The ball went over the crossbar instead. 21 minutes into the game, Alun Gilduff was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Llandudno FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Carmarthen the free kick. A collision led to Llandudno FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Medyr Snobscat came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by UWA Carmarthen's Ithel Atkins. But to his dismay, Ithel Atkins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Pryderi Currier came out of the goal and Braen Farmer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Ithel Atkins made the kick off in the second half. Ifor Bartells received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Pryderi Currier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Braen Farmer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pryderi Currier was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Medyr Snobscat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tudur England in the 61st minute. Ceri Appleton's late challenge caught a Llandudno FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 64thth minute of the game Braen Farmer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UWA Carmarthen's Pryderi Currier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. UWA Carmarthen's Pryderi Currier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braen Farmer in the 67th minute of play. Ifor Bartells sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prydwen Criddle hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Pryderi Currier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Braen Farmer's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Llandudno FC's zone, Tudur England stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Medyr Snobscat came out of the goal and Tudur England tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ithel Atkins struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Medyr Snobscat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Carmarthen. Tudur England who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Medyr Snobscat when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. UWA Carmarthen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
