UWA Baglan's Anfri Corr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hydd Beckham in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Gowerr Faircloth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute Conwy Chaney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwres Charlton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anfri Corr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gowerr Faircloth, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gethin Rush during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 26 minutes into the game, UWA Baglan's Anyon Gavins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gwres Charlton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, Hydd Beckham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anfri Corr. UWA Baglan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hydd Beckham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Anfri Corr made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Kai Kinsey sent off a good shot on target. Gowerr Faircloth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anyon Gavins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwres Charlton having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gowerr Faircloth to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gowerr Faircloth couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the match, UWA Baglan's goal looked a bit too open when Gowerr Faircloth came free, but Anfri Corr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anfri Corr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gowerr Faircloth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Conwy Chaney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anyon Gavins got free with Gwres Charlton in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Kai Kinsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gowerr Faircloth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Anfri Corr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86thth minute of the game Kai Kinsey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UWA Baglan's Anfri Corr was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Baglan's zone, Kai Kinsey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anfri Corr came out of the goal and Kai Kinsey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Port Talbot had played much better football throughout.
