After 11 minutes, Gruddyeu Adrain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aberystwyth FC and the Llangollen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Drwst Keary struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Anfri Lattimore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llangollen FC. When Barri Ferriter fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Llangollen FC's protests and gave Barri Ferriter a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute Brastias Berry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfri Lattimore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes of play Aberystwyth FC's Gruddyeu Adrain was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 39th minute, Drwst Keary hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Llangollen FC's zone, Mabsant Collier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maelwys Gee came out of the goal and Mabsant Collier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

61 minutes into the match, Llangollen FC's Brastias Berry sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anfri Lattimore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aberystwyth FC's Cynbal Brody got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Rhys Hill had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maelwys Gee. Llangollen FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rhys Hill was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The supporters of Llangollen FC booed when Aberystwyth FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rhys Hill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mil Foody was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Drwst Keary managed to get in a good position for a shot. Llangollen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Drwst Keary was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anfri Lattimore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wmffre Deanly charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wmffre Deanly the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes Aberystwyth FC got a freekick which was hit by Wmffre Deanly. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aberystwyth FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mil Foody was slow to take the kick. During this time Llangollen FC's players had a chance to rest. Wren Knight tried in the 93rd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Anfri Lattimore a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
