When Deiniol Loane came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the UWA Maesteg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deiniol Loane couldn't finish the play. Garselid Kavanagh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Newtown FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Peredur Cameron hit a great ball. When Garselid Kavanagh, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 42 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Cynan Black was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cynan Black made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deiniol Loane in the 44th minute.

Barris Fell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwern Conant having to interfere. If Garselid Kavanagh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61stth minute of the game Garselid Kavanagh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newtown FC's Cynan Black was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, UWA Maesteg's Deiniol Loane sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cynan Black narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garselid Kavanagh in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cynan Black prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Taffy Everton kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When Deiniol Loane came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the UWA Maesteg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deiniol Loane couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Newtown FC booed when UWA Maesteg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustig Neatherder didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Newtown FC's zone, Garselid Kavanagh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cynan Black came out of the goal and Garselid Kavanagh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deiniol Loane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Cynan Black tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cadeyrn Beckett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwern Conant having to interfere.
