A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, Beaumaris's goal looked a bit too open when Cadeyrn Beckett came free, but Mabsant Cottle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Amynedd Brook ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cynan Black was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Barris Fell came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Newtown FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barris Fell couldn't finish the play. Newtown FC were furious when Evrei Love was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Cynan Black showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pasgen Conyers, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Amynedd Brook had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cynan Black made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pasgen Conyers in the 45th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Newtown FC's zone, Amynedd Brook stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cynan Black came out of the goal and Amynedd Brook tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amynedd Brook made a kick off. If Barris Fell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Prys Crowley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beaumaris's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newtown FC the free kick. Bowen Foster hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Cain Clay charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cain Clay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moesen Quarrier during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, Moesen Quarrier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beaumaris's Cain Clay got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Cain Clay off the ground. Beaumaris's Mabsant Cottle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barris Fell in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Beaumaris's zone, Barris Fell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mabsant Cottle came out of the goal and Barris Fell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pasgen Conyers came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Beaumaris fans jumped to their feet. Pasgen Conyers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Cynan Black tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Pasgen Conyers got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Barris Fell put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mabsant Cottle. Barris Fell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mabsant Cottle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Peredur Cameron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
