Culhwch Arthur's late challenge caught a Neath's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Culhwch Arthur helped the player get up and apologised. After 2 played minutes Bridgend FC got a freekick which was hit by Culhwch Arthur. Ithel High took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baudwin Dell. Baudwin Dell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Neath getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ffodor Large hit a great ball. Llwydeu Garrison charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Llwydeu Garrison the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, one of Neath:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Neath. Naw Fletcher charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Naw Fletcher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th match minute, Neath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naw Fletcher to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute of the match Ffowc Donnelly shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baudwin Dell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Baudwin Dell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lludd Brinkman in the 27th minute of the match. Arawn Lea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siencyn Christian in the 33rd minute of play. Culhwch Arthur hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Hydd Blackadder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arawn Lea having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Siencyn Christian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neath's supporters rose to their feet, but Siencyn Christian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arawn Lea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Neath booed when Bridgend FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carnedyr Fairchild didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bridgend FC's goalkeeper Arawn Lea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Beven Hugh fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bridgend FC's protests and gave Beven Hugh a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bridgend FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Beven Hugh hit a great ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Siencyn Christian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neath's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siencyn Christian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ffodor Large sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Govannon Chain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lludd Brinkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hydd Blackadder in the 67th minute of play forced Bridgend FC's goalkeeper Arawn Lea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Bridgend FC booed when Neath was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ffodor Large didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes Bridgend FC got a freekick which was hit by Culhwch Arthur. In the 74th minute, Carnedyr Fairchild hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hydd Blackadder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the game, Bridgend FC's Ithel High nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baudwin Dell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Baudwin Dell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ffowc Donnelly in the 94th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bridgend FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
