After some careless play in the UWA Prestatyn defense, Gusg Factor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evrei Colston. The UWA Prestatyn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evrei Colston should have stopped the shot. Ceithin Gibb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Llyr Harvey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malvern Ellen in the 23rd minute of the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gusg Factor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Evrei Colston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwyneira Cain, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gusg Factor in the 46th minute of play forced UWA Prestatyn's goalkeeper Evrei Colston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Glew Mintmaster fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Swansea's protests and gave Glew Mintmaster a yellow card for diving instead. Glew Mintmaster hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Llyr Harvey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceithin Gibb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Swansea's Llyr Harvey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malvern Ellen in the 93rd minute of play. Malvern Ellen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llyr Harvey having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Swansea had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
