Spectators: 6769 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomos Garnett kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Collen Bingley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Govynyon Andrew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomos Garnett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Govynyon Andrew took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Llyr Gilboy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Govynyon Andrew came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Red Boys's Broderick Creagh. But to his dismay, Broderick Creagh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 45 minutes into the match, UWA Treorchy's Ithel Joel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Collen Brahan narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The wind increased when Broderick Creagh made the kick off in the second half. If Broderick Creagh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Llyr Gilboy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Govynyon Andrew made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Llyr Gilboy sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ithel Joel in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Collen Brahan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomos Garnett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Collen Brahan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Red Boys's Broderick Creagh in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UWA Treorchy's goalie prevented a goal. Taffy Bernard's late challenge caught a Red Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Taffy Bernard helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to UWA Treorchy getting a freekick after 78 minutes play.
