Spectators: 7720 (Terracing: 5791, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lavaine Goodman took the kick off in the first half of the match. UWA Bridgend's Mabon Jolson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Broderick Creagh in the 5th minute of play. Llyr Gilboy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Mabon Jolson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, UWA Bridgend's goal looked a bit too open when Broderick Creagh came free, but Mabon Jolson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Myrddin Beers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Bors Freelove hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Seith Lardner took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Collen Brahan. Red Boys's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Red Boys booed when UWA Bridgend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevyn Hewitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gwern Attwood kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Myrddin Beers in the 38th minute of play forced Red Boys's goalkeeper Collen Brahan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lavaine Goodman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Broderick Creagh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lavaine Goodman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Collen Brahan having to make a save. Broderick Creagh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, UWA Bridgend's Lleu Cain got a free kick in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Broderick Creagh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mabon Jolson. UWA Bridgend's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Broderick Creagh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 89 minutes, Collen Daly mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UWA Bridgend and the Red Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes UWA Bridgend got a freekick which was hit by Collen Daly. Eudav Gilroy kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Red Boys were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of UWA Bridgend for a fine match.
