Denbigh Utd's Madoc Manciple played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Llwyr Ashbrook in the 3rd minute of play. UWA Neath's Gwitart Longshoreman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Newlin Gearan in the 8th minute of play. Llwyr Ashbrook struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Madoc Manciple didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Neath. Wren Hickey might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Madoc Manciple. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wren Hickey ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Denbigh Utd's Teilo Kellock got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Denbigh Utd's zone, Llwyr Ashbrook stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Madoc Manciple came out of the goal and Llwyr Ashbrook tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Llwyr Ashbrook in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Madoc Manciple saved Denbigh Utd from getting behind. If Wren Hickey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gwitart Longshoreman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irvin Flood in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Wren Hickey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. UWA Neath's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Irvin Flood 29 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 33rd match minute, Denbigh Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irvin Flood to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Irvin Flood reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gwitart Longshoreman. The goal made the score 2-0. 44 minutes into the match, UWA Neath's Wren Hickey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Madoc Manciple narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Irvin Flood to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Irvin Flood cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gwitart Longshoreman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Denbigh Utd's Irvin Flood got a free kick in the 56th minute. Newlin Giddy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Gwitart Longshoreman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Denbigh Utd's Gwyn Lay got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 73rd minute, Llwyr Ashbrook made a precise shot to the right of Madoc Manciple. Denbigh Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. UWA Neath's Gwitart Longshoreman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Newlin Giddy in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Newlin Giddy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwitart Longshoreman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Newlin Giddy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwitart Longshoreman having to interfere. Gwitart Longshoreman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irvin Flood in the 86th minute of play. After 88 minutes, Newlin Giddy made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. UWA Neath's Gwitart Longshoreman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Denbigh Utd fans cheered their team off the field, for while UWA Neath had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
