The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Ely FC booed when FC Ínnégábílé Cámpíóní was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Math Garvey didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Keith Belbeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keith Belbeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Irvin Billing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Puw Crocker during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Puw Crocker hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Dirmyg Franklin came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Ely FC's Gethin Laurence. But to his dismay, Gethin Laurence quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 20th minute, Gromer Alnor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Keith Belbeck came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the FC Ínnégábílé Cámpíóní fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keith Belbeck couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Irvin Billing successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 28 played minutes Gwydre Kain rounded Ely FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Irvin Billing was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gwydre Kain showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 31 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Galahad Fabian in the 39th minute of play forced FC Ínnégábílé Cámpíóní's goalkeeper Dirmyg Franklin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Irvin Billing made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Keith Belbeck sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gwydre Kain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, FC Ínnégábílé Cámpíóní's Dirmyg Franklin got control of the ball when Gethin Laurence tried to sneak it across the goal line. Irvin Billing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keith Belbeck in the 61st minute of play. The referee gave FC Ínnégábílé Cámpíóní a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Barris Gain, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ely FC's Irvin Billing. 5-1. Gethin Laurence recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dirmyg Franklin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galahad Fabian in the 83rd minute of play. Gethin Laurence's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Dirmyg Franklin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gethin Laurence received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Dirmyg Franklin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rhisiart Gehan hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ely FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Gethin Laurence hit a great ball. With a little luck, FC Ínnégábílé Cámpíóní's Dirmyg Franklin got control of the ball when Gethin Laurence tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Ínnégábílé Cámpíóní were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ely FC for a fine match.
