Ysgawyn Gardner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Accalon Lett went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Caddoc Fleshers short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Trent Higginson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Trent Higginson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caddoc Flesher went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. If Caddoc Flesher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to UWA Porthcawl getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Erbin Fitzroy hit a great ball. UWA Porthcawl's Trent Higginson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greidyawl Holcombe in the 36th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Trent Higginson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Caddoc Flesher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Greidyawl Holcombe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Trent Higginson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ysgawyn Gardner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Accalon Lett's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After a rather tough play, Abergele Utd's Gerwin Ambrose got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Greidyawl Holcombe made the kick off in the second half. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind UWA Porthcawl's goalkeeper Trent Higginson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, Gerwin Ambrose was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abergele Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UWA Porthcawl the free kick. A collision led to Abergele Utd getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Gerwin Ambrose hit a great ball. Accalon Lett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ysgawyn Gardner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Ysgawyn Gardner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trent Conyers in the 77th minute of the match. Caddoc Flesher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Trent Higginson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Greidyawl Holcombe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abergele Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Greidyawl Holcombe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trent Higginson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Accalon Lett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Ysgawyn Gardner made a huge save. Trent Conyers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ysgawyn Gardner having to interfere. Ysgawyn Gardner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Accalon Lett in the 90th minute. Ysgawyn Gardner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trent Conyers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 99th match minute, UWA Porthcawl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nodens Doran to maneuver through the defense. In the 102nd minute of the match Abergele Utd got a corner. UWA Porthcawl's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hydd Herne ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hydd Herne made a great header on Abergele Utd's corner, it was just that UWA Porthcawl's Trent Higginson managed to reach the ball for a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the UWA Porthcawl players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Abergele Utd.
