Anir Brigham stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alwyn Cummins's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Alwyn Cummins took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anir Brigham. Anir Brigham dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aberthol Bligh during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aberthol Bligh hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. When Lloyd Hayhurst fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UWA Montgomery's protests and gave Lloyd Hayhurst a yellow card for diving instead. Lloyd Hayhurst kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Greid Blencowe was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pasgen Holloway made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Meurig Tucker sent off a good shot on target. Alwyn Cummins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anir Brigham having to interfere. Gildas Whitewing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Alwyn Cummins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anir Brigham was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Alwyn Cummins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anir Brigham having to interfere. Cairn Francom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Meurig Tucker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Meurig Tucker got free with Pasgen Holloway in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The UWA Montgomery players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. UWA Baglan were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Gildas Whitewing made the kick off in the second half. Meurig Tucker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Pasgen Holloway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gildas Whitewing's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anir Brigham was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Cairn Francom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to UWA Baglan getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Greid Blencowe hit a great ball. Aberthol Bligh kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. A collision led to UWA Montgomery getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Wren Eliss hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, UWA Baglan's Gildas Whitewing sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anir Brigham narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cairn Francom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pasgen Holloway having to interfere. The UWA Montgomery supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching UWA Baglan's performance. The match ended with a win for UWA Baglan.
