Spectators: 6775 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Galahad Fabian took the kick off in the first half of the match. Airbus UK Broughton FC's Gorlois Tipstaff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Galahad Fabian in the 4th minute of play. Mil Carr took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Irvin Billing. Irvin Billing dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Irvin Billing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mil Carr in the 12th minute of play. Puw Crocker hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Gethin Laurence received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gorlois Tipstaff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gorlois Tipstaff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Galahad Fabian, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ely FC's Gethin Laurence got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gethin Laurences short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Gorlois Tipstaff to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Galahad Fabian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gorlois Tipstaff having to make a save. After 37 played minutes Airbus UK Broughton FC got a freekick which was hit by Urien Fox. 38 minutes in the game, Galahad Fabian fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gorlois Tipstaff having to interfere. Urien Fox charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urien Fox the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Urien Fox kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Galahad Fabian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Airbus UK Broughton FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Medyr Hunt to strike the kick off in the second half. Casnar Boltinghouse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th match minute, Airbus UK Broughton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urien Fox to maneuver through the defense. Urien Fox kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Gethin Laurence received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, Airbus UK Broughton FC's Blathaon Collier got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Irvin Billing. In the 85th minute, Airbus UK Broughton FC's Medyr Hunt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Irvin Billing. Irvin Billing yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Gorlois Tipstaff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gethin Laurence in the 88th minute of the match. Gethin Laurence struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Gorlois Tipstaff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ely FC. Gorlois Tipstaff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gethin Laurence, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chants of Airbus UK Broughton FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Ely FC had held the ball for most of the match.
