After having played for 6 minutes, Pedr Connolly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swansea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedr Connolly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pelles Barrington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anir Brigham having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelles Barrington in the 19th minute of play forced UWA Montgomery's goalkeeper Anir Brigham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pelles Barrington might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anir Brigham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pelles Barrington ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Swansea FC's goalkeeper Berwyn Farrier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Meurig Tucker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Swansea FC's Berwyn Farrier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Swansea FC from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute Cairn Francom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berwyn Farrier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 played minutes UWA Montgomery got a freekick which was hit by Lloyd Hayhurst. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedr Connolly in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anir Brigham prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedr Connolly was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by UWA Montgomery's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gwilym Bright was slow to take the kick. During this time Swansea FC's players had a chance to rest. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of UWA Montgomery:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Swansea FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Anir Brigham, was totally fooled by Swansea FC's Gwilym Bright, who 57 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Pwyll Fishman's late challenge caught a UWA Montgomery's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pwyll Fishman helped the player get up and apologised. Anir Brigham made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Pelles Barrington sent off a good shot on target. UWA Montgomery's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pedr Connolly 66 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. In the 75th minute, Lloyd Hayhurst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pelles Barrington took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anir Brigham. Anir Brigham dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Pelles Barrington struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Anir Brigham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Swansea FC. Kevyn Bonham blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Berwyn Farrier having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Swansea FC's zone, Cairn Francom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berwyn Farrier came out of the goal and Cairn Francom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Swansea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cairn Francom came free, but Berwyn Farrier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Pelles Barrington managed to get in a good position for a shot. Swansea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pelles Barrington was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anir Brigham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pelles Barrington who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 99thth minute tested the skills of Anir Brigham when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
