Spectators: 6776 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gildas Whitewing took the kick off in the first half of the match. Irvin Billing didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alwyn Cummins went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Pasgen Holloway showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Galahad Fabian, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 12 played minutes UWA Baglan got a freekick which was hit by Cain Kitts. The supporters of Ely FC booed when UWA Baglan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aberthol Bligh didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Cain Kitts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Baglan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ely FC the free kick. In the 18th minute, Cain Kitts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gethin Laurence came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Ely FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gethin Laurence couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, UWA Baglan's goal looked a bit too open when Galahad Fabian came free, but Pasgen Holloway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes UWA Baglan got a freekick which was hit by Cain Kitts. Alwyn Cummins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Alwyn Cummins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Gildas Whitewing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Baglan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gildas Whitewing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Galahad Fabian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Alwyn Cummins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irvin Billing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alwyn Cummins in the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of UWA Baglan booed when Ely FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Puw Crocker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ely FC's Irvin Billing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gildas Whitewing in the 57th minute of play. Irvin Billing came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by UWA Baglan's Gildas Whitewing. But to his dismay, Gildas Whitewing quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 72 played minutes, UWA Baglan's Greid Blencowe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Irvin Billing came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UWA Baglan reached it. UWA Baglan's Alwyn Cummins got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gildas Whitewing struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Irvin Billing didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UWA Baglan. In the 82nd minute, Gethin Laurence ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pasgen Holloway was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After having played for 88 minutes, Galahad Fabian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ely FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Galahad Fabian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alwyn Cummins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gildas Whitewing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UWA Baglan's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
