After 2 minutes, Duach Delany mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UWA Porthcawl and the Swansea FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, UWA Porthcawl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duach Delany to maneuver through the defense. Pedr Connolly blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Trent Higginson having to make a save. If Trent Conyers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moesen Finch kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute of the match Gwilym Bright sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Trent Higginson skillfully saved the ball. Swansea FC's Pelles Barrington got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of UWA Porthcawl booed when Swansea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dywel Letson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trent Conyers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Berwyn Farrier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedr Connolly's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Trent Higginson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Berwyn Farrier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Accalon Lett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Accalon Lett in the 27th minute of play forced Swansea FC's goalkeeper Berwyn Farrier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Accalon Lett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berwyn Farrier having to interfere. Berwyn Farrier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trent Conyers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pelles Barrington scored 1-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trent Higginson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Pelles Barrington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Trent Conyers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, UWA Porthcawl's Trent Conyers made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Berwyn Farrier was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedr Connolly in the 56th minute of play forced UWA Porthcawl's goalkeeper Trent Higginson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pedr Connolly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pelles Barrington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trent Higginson having to interfere. Dywel Letson hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 73 minutes Swansea FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nodens Doran who took care of the corner kick. Pedr Connolly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 85 minutes, Pwyll Fishman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Swansea FC and the UWA Porthcawl players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedr Connolly in the 87th minute of play forced UWA Porthcawl's goalkeeper Trent Higginson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Accalon Lett had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Berwyn Farrier. Swansea FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Accalon Lett was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 95 minutes into the match, UWA Porthcawl's Accalon Lett sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Berwyn Farrier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. UWA Porthcawl walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
