After a rather tough play, Llandysul Utd's Gwyn Brien got a free kick in the 7th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Abergele Utd's goalkeeper Ysgawyn Gardner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eudav Joseph. Greidyawl Holcombe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Abergele Utd getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gerwin Ambrose hit a great ball. Eudav Joseph struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Ysgawyn Gardner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llandysul Utd. Eudav Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ysgawyn Gardner having to interfere. Ysgawyn Gardner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olwydd Hodgson in the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Caddoc Flesher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abergele Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caddoc Flesher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Culhwch Victualer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Greidyawl Holcombe went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Caddoc Flesher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Llandysul Utd's Culhwch Victualer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caddoc Flesher in the 46th minute of play. Culhwch Victualer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caddoc Flesher, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olwydd Hodgson to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerwin Ambrose in the 52nd minute of play forced Llandysul Utd's goalkeeper Culhwch Victualer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bryn Coffren hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Caddoc Flesher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Culhwch Victualer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ysgawyn Gardner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eudav Joseph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gwyn Brien was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Llandysul Utd getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gwyn Brien hit a great ball. Abergele Utd's Hydd Herne couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Llandysul Utd. Olwydd Hodgson kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. With his leg Culhwch Victualer managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Abergele Utd's Caddoc Flesher fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eudav Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Caddoc Flesher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Abergele Utd players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
