Ysgawyn Gardner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dywel Letson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedr Connolly struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Ysgawyn Gardner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Swansea FC. After having played for 26 minutes, Pedr Connolly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swansea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedr Connolly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Abergele Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Pedr Connolly came free, but Ysgawyn Gardner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rhodri Kearney during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greidyawl Holcombe in the 38th minute of play forced Swansea FC's goalkeeper Berwyn Farrier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Caddoc Flesher notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Swansea FC's Berwyn Farrier. Berwyn Farrier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Pedr Connolly came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Swansea FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedr Connolly couldn't finish the play.

If Pelles Barrington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Llwydeu Leigh fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abergele Utd's protests and gave Llwydeu Leigh a yellow card for diving instead. Berwyn Farrier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greidyawl Holcombe in the 75th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Abergele Utd's Caddoc Flesher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Berwyn Farrier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Pedr Connolly managed to get in a good position for a shot. Swansea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedr Connolly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
