In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Swansea FC's goalkeeper Berwyn Huckster, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Swansea FC's Nynnyaw Charlton got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the game, Gerallt Feltner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talgarth Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Swansea FC the free kick. In the 16th minute, Gerallt Feltner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Nynnyaw Charlton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but March Fishbourne was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. The attack was good, but when Anwell Dunn in the 19th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Amerawdwr Crittle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nynnyaw Charlton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Swansea FC fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Swansea FC's Adwr Barnes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Talgarth Utd's Anwell Dunn got a free kick in the 35th minute. Adwr Barnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without March Fishbourne having to interfere. A hard shot 41 in the game by Adwr Barnes from a close distance when the talented March Fishbourne managed to make a qualified save. Talgarth Utd's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Talgarth Utd's Teryrnon Bannon got a free kick in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anwell Dunn to make the kick off. Swansea FC's Berwyn Huckster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anwell Dunn in the 55th minute of play. Talgarth Utd were furious when Bradwen Brien was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Talgarth Utd fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Swansea FC a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Madoc Bowman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Talgarth Utd's March Fishbourne. 2-0. Amerawdwr Crittle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berwyn Huckster having to interfere. Gerallt Feltner might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Berwyn Huckster. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerallt Feltner ran back to his position shaking his head. 78 minutes into the game, Gerallt Feltner recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Berwyn Huckster. Gerallt Feltner showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 81 minutes into the match, Swansea FC's goalkeeper Berwyn Huckster had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amerawdwr Crittle. Gildas John recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ren Connell kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Adwr Barnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without March Fishbourne having to interfere. If Nynnyaw Charlton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Swansea FC's Adwr Barnes got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Talgarth Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Nynnyaw Charlton came free, but March Fishbourne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Nynnyaw Charlton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Swansea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nynnyaw Charlton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. March Fishbourne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Talgarth Utd's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
