In the 8th match minute, Treorchy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwevyl Peruker to maneuver through the defense. Cadyryeith Dungan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Dewey Lynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Kilydd Tasker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dewey Lynn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cadyryeith Dungan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dewey Lynn having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Abergele's goalkeeper Peissawg Wright had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nodens Dutton. 18 minutes into the match, Cadyryeith Dungan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Treorchy's Dewey Lynn. Dewey Lynn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abergele's Peissawg Wright played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urien Burgonmaster in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Urien Burgonmaster dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Peissawg Wright, 1-1. The supporters of Abergele booed when Treorchy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lludd Horan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kilydd Tasker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peissawg Wright took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urien Burgonmaster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Treorchy booed when Abergele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxen Keene didn't get a good kick on the ball. Treorchy were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Abergele's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gwevyl Peruker took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Waljan Cundall got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-1. 41 minutes into the match. Kilydd Tasker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Dewey Lynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Treorchy's goal looked a bit too open when Kilydd Tasker came free, but Dewey Lynn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 63rd minute, Treorchy's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kilydd Tasker fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 72 minutes, Waljan Cundall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Treorchy and the Abergele players grew even worse after the yellow card. Waljan Cundall hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Peissawg Wright showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nodens Dutton in the 77th minute of the match. Nodens Dutton struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Peissawg Wright didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Treorchy. Cadyryeith Dungan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Dewey Lynn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nodens Dutton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Peissawg Wright tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vaddon Boniface's late challenge caught a Abergele's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vaddon Boniface helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Vaddon Boniface hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cadyryeith Dungan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dewey Lynn having to interfere. The Treorchy fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Abergele were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
