Spectators: 6778 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gwalchmei Covell made the kick off which started today's match. Mercher Jamison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colwyn Spurrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 7 played minutes Llanberis FC got a freekick which was hit by Gruffen Bluestocking. Anyon Henry did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Gwyglet Barnes 9 minutes into the match. Gwalchmei Covell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwyglet Barnes having to interfere. Knighton's Mercher Jamison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rhett Lister in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Colwyn Spurrer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 played minutes, Knighton's Gareth Herring shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gwyglet Barnes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Knighton reached it. Gwalchmei Covell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Gwyglet Barnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gwyglet Barnes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Trent Cain's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. If Rhett Lister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Knighton's Garwyli Gold got a free kick in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Knighton's goal looked a bit too open when Rhett Lister came free, but Mercher Jamison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwalchmei Covell in the 38th minute of play forced Llanberis FC's goalkeeper Gwyglet Barnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Knighton booed when Llanberis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Colwyn Spurrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gareth Herring, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rhett Lister stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Trent Cain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwyglet Barnes having to interfere. Anyon Henry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwyglet Barnes having to interfere. Colwyn Spurrer hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The supporters of Llanberis FC booed when Knighton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garwyli Gold didn't get a good kick on the ball. Llanberis FC's Iona Armitage got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Rhett Lister made a precise shot to the right of Mercher Jamison. Knighton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 83 minutes into the match, Llanberis FC's Iona Armitage broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 85th minute, Llanberis FC's Cadwgawn Graham dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 95th minute of the match Gareth Herring shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gwyglet Barnes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Gwalchmei Covell came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Knighton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gwalchmei Covell couldn't finish the play. Chants of Llanberis FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Knighton had held the ball for most of the match.
